At the end of the article there is a
Tip: Talk directly to the person. Don’t face a different direction or look away from the hearing impaired. And speak up. You do not need to shout, but you do need to speak up.

Great article! Thank you for sharing :)
This reaction is definitely not a new thing. One of my long-time friends got angry at me for not answering when she called my cell phone, and i told her she needed to text me. Not only will it help me figure out what the hell she is saying, but it will save both of us $$. It's not so annoying when strangers do it, often they don't know better and all I have to do is point to my ear, apologize, and ask them to speak up. But it kills me when my own family won't repeat themselves/slow down a little/ speak up. It's like a slap in the face. Or even when you're accused of not listening, despite the fact that you've been trained on their lips for the past half hour trying to make out their garbled words. Ahh, the joys.
The author of the article has the own point. For my own understanding on his tips, when you allow to speak for those hard hearing people, speak up deliver it such a nice way and do action so that it can easily to understand. Treat them special because they are not like the other people having good sense of hearing. Just don't give a large voice out for hard hearing people because it feels insult to them. Well I found a great stuff here for people have concern in hearing aid.
Interesting article as for me. It would be great to read a bit more about this matter. Thanx for giving that material.
